Please join us on Tuesday, April 5th at 7pm in the cafeteria for the April BESCA Meeting and incoming Officer Elections. Along with an update from our new Recess 101 program, you’ll have the opportunity to put faces with the names of our incoming officers.

Still considering getting involved? We’re actively looking for a BESCA Secretary for the 2016-17 school year. BESCA Secretary is a 1-year term that is responsible for recording meeting minutes at board and general membership meetings. The role requires approximately 5-6 hours per month (including meeting time). As a candidate has not been established for this position, write-ins will be accepted at Tuesday’s election. If you’re interested, please contact Kristina Kole at kmkole@gmail.com.

Elections are coming up for BESCA executive board officer positions!

BESCA officers experience first-hand how their efforts affect the kids at Booksin, as BESCA is responsible for bringing art, music, science, technology, library books, school assemblies, field trips, and classroom materials to the school. Officers have the privilege of overseeing fundraising and community events, school programs, volunteers, budgets, and communications—and truly have a hand in making Booksin the amazing place it is.  If you’ve ever thought about stepping into a more active role at Booksin, now is a great time—because WE NEED YOU! Elections are April 5th . For more information, please contact BESCA Secretary, Toni Bloom at toni@tonibloom.com or visit http://mybesca.com/about-besca/elections/.
